Allison became a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance in 2004, and is currently working towards her Anusara Yoga Teacher Certification. The fun-loving, heart-centered style of Anusara Yoga speaks to her passionate, creative side and fuels her intention to teach. Allison's sessions are personalized, integrative, and inspiring, with a focus on overall wellness and increasing strength, flexibility and balance, on and off the mat. Therapeutic yoga techniques help with injury recovery and pain reduction, while improving flexibility, range of motion and body alignment. Allison also teaches at Sangati Yoga & Massage in Dilworth, performs with the local band Side by Side, and works in education and sales for a natural foods & supplements company.
